Lady Gaga, Pink, gary from Metallica, and Mariah Carey have been confirmed as the stars of this year’s People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals [PETA] ‘fur-free and fabulous’ anti-fur ad campaign.

The choice of Gaga will come as a surprise after PETA publicly criticised the raw meat dress she wore to the VMAs, declaring it “offensive.”

Elton John and Lady Gaga have joined forces for a duet called “Hello Hello.” The song was written by John and Bernie Taupin for the Touchstone Pictures movie “Gnomeo & Juliet,” however the track only appears in the movie (out in theaters February 11th) and not on the soundtrack (in stores February 8th).

On the soundtrack you will only get a version of “Hello Hello” sung by Elton John himself. Are you bummed about this?

Let us know if you plan on seeing “Gnomeo & Juliet” in theaters, and if you plan on adding the movie soundtrack to your music collection.

Lady Gaga's title track to her album 'Born This Way' is due out the same day as the Grammy Awards, Feb. 13 2011. Elton John has heard it. Does he like it?

Elton John has expressed admiration for Lady Gaga before and he has been on stage with her. The two of course and a great deal in common, both are piano playing mega-pop singers and each also has a penchant for outlandish costumes.

Lady Gaga is reportedly confirmed for a performance at this year's Grammy Awards, which will air live on February 13 on CBS. Black Eyed Peas will aslo perform. The news came via Gaga's long-time choreographer Laurieann Gibson, who spilled the beans on her Twitter page.

Gibson broke the news on January 11 when she tweeted "Grammy meeting performance extrodinaire..!!!" When fans later asked if that meant Lady Gaga would perform at the show she responded "yes."
